I pick you up in Nice in my SUV at a time that works for you in the morning, and I take you to the perched villages on the selected tour. We will discuss lunch options, and make reservations at a restaurant for you if necessary (lunch not included). If no lunch options are suitable, I can arrange for a champagne picnic (additional charge), weather permitting.
As your chauffeur, I will take you on the most interesting route along the way. Entrance to any attractions you want to visit at the villages can be arranged. I will provide you with interesting insight into the villages, the history, and the culture of France.
I am also your photographer and will take your photos with your camera. If you need a translator I am always happy to help. I will be available, but you are welcome to go off exploring on your own.
After a fun day of touring enchanted medieval perched villages I will return you to Nice in time for dinner.

Gourdon Tourrettes-sur-Loup Saint-Paul de Vence
The first perched village on this tour is Gourdon, a small remote medieval village perched upon a cliff. Views here are stunning, with a sweeping vista from Cannes to Nice. Gourdon contains a lovely traditional French restaurant as a lunch possibility, along with crêpes, and some lovely picnic grounds at the cliff edge. The village is full of artisanal shops and ancient charm.
Next we drive along a tight canyon road in the alps to Tourrettes-sur-Loup, a medieval perched village full of character and artisan shops. This town boasts several lunch options, from pizza, to crêpes, to cafés and brasseries. Meandering tight streets twist and transport you back in time, with a panoramic view of the foothills and the Mediterranean sea.
The final perched village on this tour is the famed Saint-Paul de Vence, an ancient village full of art exhibits and shops. This village boasts beautiful fountains and an ancient cathedral, and one of the best gelato shops in the region. The outer wall offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills, the alps, and the sea.

Eze La Turbie Roquebrune
The first perched village on this tour is Eze, the most famous of the perched villages in the French Riviera. This steep village has twisted pathways that delight around every turn, and transport you back in time to the days of Nietzsche. The hill top gardens are a special attraction and offer one of the most amazing sea views in the world. Restaurants in Eze can be difficult to get reservations for during the high season, so make sure to book early.
La Turbie is the second amazing village along this tour. This village features an ancient Roman monument, which is surrounded by a charming medieval village. The bakery in La Turbie is perhaps the best in all of France, and a sandwich makes for a great picnic on the vista overlooking Monaco below.
Our final village on this tour is Roquebrune, with it’s famous Grimaldi castle ruins. Streets of this town twist and turn in knots that transport you back to a different era. This quaint village is often overlooked by tourists and you will find it peaceful and charming. The views from the castle are an amazing way to end the day, and will leave you with memories that last a lifetime.

Entrevaux
This tour starts with a 75 minute drive along a river canyon in the French Alps, past cliffs and ancient forests. We arrive at Entrevaux, a perched village between the river bank and the mountainside.
Upon crossing the draw bridge, you will be transported back in time to a medieval village full of ancient charm and character. The village itself includes an ancient church, several fountains; and amazing public squares.
Overlooking the perched village is the ever-present fortress, that has seen many renovations since the 12th century. A hike up the cliffside trail allows you to explore the fortress, and have an amazing view of the surround mountains and the valley below.
Along the hillside is an ancient hiking trail through the olive groves of the valley sides. This town offers several lunch options, including restaurants, pizza, and a bakery. A champagne picnic can be arranged for an additional fee.
